Ball Float & Thermostatic Steam Traps are mechanical Traps and operate
on difference in desity between steam and codensate. Condensate entering the Trap causes
the Ball Float to rise and lifts the valve thru leverage off the seat discharging
condensate continuously at steam temperature. Air, CO2 and other
non-condensable gases are released thru separate balanced pressure type Thermostatic Air
Vent provided in the Trap.
